A community is reeling after a teacher was found dead inside his house on Friday.
Sipho Sikhondze (50), a teacher at Ncabaneni High School, was found dead in his bedroom at the teachers’ quarters.
A night watchman made the shocking discovery. The security guard said his curiosity was drawn to the teacher’s house by the fact that it remained dark, yet he knew that he was around.
He further said the teacher likely died during the course of the day, because he had seen him earlier on.
He told the police that when he realised that it was dark inside the house he went to investigate. He said he knocked at the door, when there was no response, he decided to break the teacher’s bedroom window to peep inside.
