Prince Sisitwako of Esandleni in South Africa has congratulated His Majesty King Mswati III for being a cornerstone in preserving and promoting local culture, not only within the country but also on the international stage.
Speaking during celebrations held at Ezulwini Palazzo, the prince described the king as a unifying figure who continues to inspire Emaswati living both at home and abroad.
He said the king embodied the qualities of a caring father, particularly to citizens residing outside the country who continue to uphold and protect the nation’s identity.
“The king is a loving person who shows a fatherly figure to his children, even those living beyond our borders who safeguard the land on his behalf.
He knows us and supports us during ummemo by sending libutfo in his name. That means a lot to us,” he said.
Prince Sisitwako added that His Majesty’s leadership extended beyond governance, as he nurtured strong personal bonds with Emaswati in the diaspora, especially those living in South Africa.

He said the king’s presence in their lives provided both moral and cultural guidance.
He further noted that the king had emphasised the importance of building relationships not only within families but also between nations, with a focus on strengthening economic ties.
“The king has always encouraged us to see relationships not only as family connections but also as opportunities to grow economies in both countries. This helps to boost the economy,” he said.
Prince Sisitwako also commended the organisation of the event, describing it as spectacular and well-prepared.
He said the celebration reflected the country’s remarkable journey under the king’s leadership over the past four decades.
He highlighted that the milestones achieved during His Majesty’s reign demonstrated a combination of vision, resilience and divine favour.
