SOCCER – THE 2025/26 MTN Premier League of Eswatini has reached its decisive phase, with the Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) confirming Fixture Programme 26 as the race for honours and survival intensifies.


With just five matches remaining before the curtain falls on another gripping season, excitement is building across the football fraternity.

Every point now carries significant weight, whether in the title race, the chase for top-four finishes or the fight to avoid relegation.

The latest round of fixtures promises high drama as teams push for crucial results.

Action begins today with Nsingizini Hotspurs hosting Ezulwini United at King Sobhuza II Stadium.

Tomorrow, Royal Leopard face Green Mamba at Mayaluka Stadium in what is expected to be a high-tempo clash.

Wednesday’s fixtures will see Malanti Chiefs take on Rangers at Killarney Sports Ground, while Sisonkhe host Manzini Wanderers at Ka-Langa Technical Centre in another key encounter.

The action continues on Friday, when Moneni Pirates meet Tabankulu Celtics at Mavuso Sports Centre.

Attention will also turn to a blockbuster clash between Mbabane Swallows and Young Buffaloes, one of the standout fixtures of the round.

PLE Football Manager Banele ‘Dingz’ Masondo said the league was encouraged by how the season has unfolded, praising its competitiveness.

“We are very happy with how the league has progressed so far. The competitiveness this season has been outstanding, and with only five games remaining, it shows how important every match has become.

“The excitement among clubs and supporters is exactly what we want for Eswatini football,” said Masondo.

He added that the smooth organisation of fixtures reflects the growth of local football, and urged supporters to continue rallying behind their teams as the season heads for a dramatic conclusion.
