His Majesty King Mswati III on Saturday graced the Royal Signature Expo, an event held in celebration of his 58th birthday and 40 years on the throne.

He highlighted Eswatini’s growing ambitions in the global business space.

The expo, hosted at Ezulwini Palazzo, transformed the venue into a high-end exhibition hub, offering a preview of the country’s readiness to host large-scale international events.

The setting brought together luxury, innovation and investment under one roof.

A range of top global brands were on display, particularly in the automotive sector, where premium vehicles drew visitors’ attention.

The exhibition also featured modern technology, including robotics, pointing to a shift toward innovation and the integration of advanced systems into the country’s development agenda.

While the luxury displays captured attention, the broader message of the event focused on economic growth and positioning the country as an attractive destination for investors.

The expo served as a platform to showcase the country’s potential in tourism, hospitality and high-value business.

A key highlight was the Royal Signature Mega Raffle, an initiative aimed at raising E200 million to support the completion of the five-star hotel known as the FISH.

The raffle offered prizes valued at E50 million, including luxury vehicles and jewellery, targeting participation from corporates and high-income individuals.

The initiative was designed to channel private capital into national infrastructure development, while also giving participants a stake in a major project expected to boost the country’s tourism offering.

As the king toured the exhibition, engaging with displays ranging from high-end vehicles to emerging technologies, the focus remained on the future.

The Royal Signature Expo is being positioned as more than just a showcase of luxury, but as a statement of intent reflecting Eswatini’s drive to grow its economy, attract investment and strengthen its presence on the global stage.

His Majesty hailed the presence of luxury vehicles such as Rolls-Royce, Lamborghini and Cullinan at the official opening, expressing joy and appreciation for the exhibitors whose participation reflected global interest.

Their presence, he noted, showed willingness to contribute to the FISH’s completion, with many prepared to purchase Royal Signature tickets priced at E200 000 each.

The king urged everyone to be ready to spend, as more work remained on the five-star hotel.

He extended an invitation to all locals and international supporters to join the historic raffle draw.

“This is not just a raffle ticket; it is a seed for capital injection towards completing the project. Even those who do not win will have contributed to a worthy cause.

I trust you have seen the priorities and I hope your credit cards and cash are ready.

Imagine spending E200 000 on a ticket that could win you a car worth E10 million,” he added.

Linda Dlamini said owning such a ‘whip’ on the 20th anniversary of their marriage would not just be success, but would also be a momentous celebration of love that endured, grew and now enjoys the journey in comfort and style.

Senator Dr Linda Nxumalo said winning a top-of-the-range Rolls-Royce vehicle would be a transformative opportunity in her life.

She said beyond the prestige associated with such an asset, she would approach it with a clear and strategic plan to create long-term stability and impact.

She said her first step would be to responsibly liquidate the vehicle and use the proceeds to settle all outstanding debts, thereby strengthening her financial foundation and reducing future risk.

“Following this, I would channel the remaining resources into property investment, focusing on sustainable and income-generating real estate that can provide long-term financial security and growth.

This would not only improve my personal circumstances but also position me to contribute more meaningfully to the economy.

Importantly, I would incorporate a strong element of social responsibility into this journey.

“A portion of the returns from my investments would be dedicated to supporting community development initiatives, particularly those that empower women and vulnerable groups through access to economic opportunities, skills development, and basic resources.

In this way, the opportunity would extend beyond personal gain to create a positive and lasting impact in society,” added Nxumalo.
