Eswatini celebrates world tourism month

The Eswatini Tourism Authority (ETA) is delighted to welcome the world to the Kingdom of Eswatini for World Tourism Month 2025. This year, we are proud to celebrate under the theme, “Tourism and Sustainable Transformation,” a principle that is at the heart of our mission.

Our nation’s tourism sector is on a strong recovery path, as evidenced by the significant increase in visitor arrivals throughout the year. This success is a testament to the combined efforts of our government, private sector and communities to offer a warm, safe and authentic experience.

We invite travellers to explore our stunning landscapes, vibrant cultural traditions and warm hospitality. Our commitment to sustainable tourism ensures that while we grow, we also protect our natural environment and preserve our heritage for future generations.

World Tourism Day is celebrated annually on September 27. This date was chosen by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) in 1979 to commemorate the adoption of its Statutes on that day.
