Newly appointed Principal Secretary (PS) in the Ministry of Education and Training Naniki Mnisi was overwhelmed with joy and shed tears of gratitude as employees warmly welcomed her this morning.

Meanwhile….Former Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Education and Training Bheki Gama arrived to collect his belongings following the new appointments announced by Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini on Saturday.

Members of the the Judicial Service Commission were officially sworn into office by Chief Justice Bheki Maphalala, who urged them four member committee to prioritise capital projects, including the construction of courts and staff recruitment

The murder convict who escaped at Mbabane Correctional Centre on Thursday night, Mthokozisi Motsa and was apprehended on Friday morning appeared in court for new charges following his daring escape at the Correctional facility.

Deputy Prime Minister Thulisile Dladla, alongside officials from the Ministry of Education and Training, visited St Joseph’s School today and what they found was heartbreaking. Crumbling toilets, a worn-out kitchen and makeshift corrugated iron structures were just some of the urgent challenges said to be facing the school. However, with the support of the Republic of China (Taiwan), a much-needed E6.3 million injection will go towards refurbishing the school and restoring dignity to the learning environment.

The Central Bank is going sky-high and has announced the construction of their climate resilient 21-floor Headquarters at Ezulwini. The CBE complex project will include an 18-floor office space and museum, amongst other facilities. Once complete, it will be the tallest building in the country while the now CBE structure is set to house the Supreme Court.

Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade Manqoba Khumalo has officially opened the Siphofaneni Hungry Lion, a franchise that has committed to hiring and training local staff, thus creating job opportunities for the youth of the area. The Ministry of Agriculture has launched a mass vaccination campaign to curb the spread of the Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) in the Shiselweni region. The exercise has officially begun and is currently underway at several dip tanks including Thandela, Maphuphuma, Lubivane, Mkhontela, Msuzaneni and Vela.
This urgent intervention aims to contain the spread the disease which poses a threat to the country’s livestock industry and food security.

FNB Eswatini Challenge is BACK!
FNB Eswatini CEO Thokozani Dlamini has officially announced a E2 million sponsorship for this year’s prestigious golf event themed “Transforming Fairways and Futures.” The tournament will take place at Ezulwini Golf and Country Club. Minister of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs Bongani Nzima applauded FNB for bringing this top golf spectacle back to Eswatini!
