The business One-Stop Shop (BOSS) is going live on July 21, Minister of Commerce, industry and Trade Manqoba Khumalo has said.
The minister toured the BOSS offices to assess the readiness of the facility to open its doors to the public.

BOSS is managed by the Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA) under the guidance of the ministry of commerce, industry and trade, is well positioned to assist investors both locally and internationally with setting up operations in Eswatini.
From July 21, investors will be able to use BOSS to apply for a trading license, apply for a Tax Identification Number (TIN) through ERS, apply for permits through the ministry of home affairs and access the Royal Science and Technology Park (RSTP) services.

Several companies have received assistance through BOSS in its pilot stage; this followed the BOSS launch by Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini in May, and EIPA has received support from the International Trade Centre under the European Union for the set-up of the facility. During the visit, officials from EIPA who are responsible for managing the BOSS facility took the minister through the centre and demonstrated the advancements made in connecting internal systems and streamlining services.

Khumalo expressed his appreciation for EIPA’s efforts and their partnership with government. He encouraged all business operators with investments of E2 million or more to begin utilising the BOSS platform to access streamlined business services.

EIPA Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sibani Mngomezulu and his team showcased several services that are already functional and confirmed that BOSS will be fully operational by the earlier mentioned date.
He also announced plans to collaborate with the ministry of home affairs to provide one-month permits as a starting point, with a rollout of the full range of services to follow shortly thereafter.
