A marriage of over 13 years has hit rock bottom after it transpired that all four children the man thought were his, are not.
This has left the man’s family from Nkamazi in disbelief and shocked after their bride who got married through Eswatini Law and Custom turned out to have had multiples affairs, resulting to the four children who do not belong to the family she is married to.
The man aged 50, who is working in the mines in the Republic of South Africa, has been left dumbfounded after finding out that he does not have any biological child despite having raised the four whom he thought were his and his wife from Mahlangatja.
The children are aged seven, 11, 13 and 16, respectively.
It is alleged that some of the school going children are fathered by men from the same neighbourhood.

This newspaper understands that the couple got married around 2012 after the wife had given birth to the second child. She had been staying in Matsapha.
A couple of years later, the man got a job in the mines in South Africa and had to be distant from his wife.
It is alleged that the wife had been living a questionable life in the community where she would be seen enjoying alcoholic drinks with her friends. It is alleged that the mother of the children in one of her drunk episodes disclosed to some friends and her in-laws that her husband did not father some of her children.
“That is how her husband got wind that the children might not be his. He questioned his wife about same, but he could not get clear answers which later saw his wife leaving him with the children after he demanded that a DNA test be conducted,” a source claimed.
Seeing that his wife was ducking and diving on the issue, the man approached the court for intervention. “He badly wanted the DNA done,” the source added.
On April 15, Pigg’s Peak Magistrate Nkosingiphile Maseko ordered that the children be produced for the DNA test and that the cost of the procedure be borne by the 50-year-old man.
About two weeks ago, the DNA results returned. It transpired that the man was not the biological father to all the four children.
The man then applied to the court that his details be removed from the birth certificates of the children, and was granted his wish.
Before this order, it is said the wife had returned to fetch the children two weeks ago. She left with them to her parental home.
The issue of the children’s paternity has sparked outrage from some Nkomazi community members, some are accusing the wife of being promiscuous.
They also blame the couple’s age gap as the husband is 50, while the wife is 35 years.
This is not the first case as another one was handled by the Pigg’s Peak Magistrate’s court last year where a man had discovered that all five children were not his.

The man found out after he went to see a doctor where he was informed that he was infertile. This then led him to conduct a DNA test for all the five children.
