The much-anticipated Umuthi Fest 2025 is officially scheduled to take place on October 18, at the Mavuso Exhibition Centre in Eswatini.
Following the resounding success of last year’s event, excitement is building for what promises to be another unforgettable night of music, dance and cultural celebration.
Ticket sales have been announced with early bird prices set at E150 for general admission and E400 for VIP tickets, available until September 6. After this date, presale tickets will be general priced at E200 and E500 VIP, while gate prices will be E250 for general and E600 for VIP.
Last year the festival showcased great talent and culture blossoming at the Mavuso Trade Centre, drawing over 2 000 music lovers for a night filled with electrifying performances and soulful rhythms.
Organised by the renowned entertainment group Blaq Diamond, the festival was a vibrant celebration of Eswatini’s rich musical heritage and a testament to the growing influence of Blaq Diamond in the entertainment scene.
The star-studded line-up featured some of the biggest names in the industry, including Mlindo the Vocalist, Aymos and Xowla, with the magnetic Sjava captivating the crowd with his powerful vocals.
The festival also showcased the talents of local DJs, with DJ Zulu D blending traditional sounds and modern beats, keeping the audience dancing into the early hours.
A highlight of the event was the soulful performance by gospel superstar Linda Dlamini, whose stirring vocals and spiritual energy created a moving atmosphere of praise and worship.
The festival was hailed as a major success by sponsors.
This year, the event will partner with MegaSound, DiskiBet, Teeboss Events, Zulu D and Pulse Graphics, where fans and music lovers can expect more thrilling performances and cultural celebrations.
