ESWATINI TV will give citizens a front-row seat to His Majesty King Mswati III’s 40 years on the throne and 58th birthday celebrations, by broadcasting the event live on DStv.
This will offer viewers across the region and beyond an opportunity to witness the significant national occasion. The live broadcast is set to air on DStv Africa, channel 286 on Friday.
Eswatini TV Chief Executive Officer Mlamuli Dlamini said they will be bringing the celebrations directly to audiences and ensuring wider access to the event as it unfolds.
“This year’s celebrations hold significance as they coincide with the commemoration of His Majesty’s 40-year reign, marking four decades of leadership, unity and national development. The celebration presents a moment of reflection for citizens, honouring both the life of the king and the prosperous journey of the kingdom under his leadership,” he said.
Dlamini emphasised the significance of the broadcast, noting that it reflected the broadcaster’s role in connecting Emaswati to moments of national importance.

In addition to the DStv broadcast, the festivities will also be livestreamed on the Eswatini TV YouTube channel.
