Unbelief and excitement defined the latest Siyabangena More customer reward campaign as three lucky winners walked away with life-changing prizes, headlined by a grand all-expenses-paid trip to Cape Town.

The win came after Nandi Magagula from Big Bend purchased E100 airtime and dialled *279# to enter the competition, where she also nominated her two preferred travel companions. Through that entry, she secured the grand prize and selected her sister, Nomcabango Magagula, and brother-in-law, Shepherd Ngcamphalala, to share the experience.

Nandi, a fashion designer, will travel alongside Nomcabango, who runs a grocery store at Ndunazithini, and Shepherd, a bus driver, as the trio prepares for their dream getaway. They will be flying out to Cape Town from the King Mswati III International Airport next weekend.

Nandi said she entered the competition during a normal working day, never expecting the call that followed. She explained that she had been watching the groceries draw before returning to work, only to later receive a call informing her of the win, which she initially did not believe.

“I didn’t believe it at first,” she said.

Nomcabango said the news came as a complete surprise, noting that although they had been entering together, they never truly expected to win.

“At first I thought it was a joke,” she said. “Even now it still feels unreal.”

Shepherd, who had been following the live Facebook draw while at work nearby, rushed to confirm the news in person after seeing Nandi’s number and name announced.

Three lucky Siyabangena More winners, Nandi Magagula, Shepherd Ngcamphalala and Nomcabango Magagula have secured an all-expenses-paid trip to Cape Town after entering the Eswatini Mobile customer reward campaign.

“I saw her name during the live draw and went straight to tell them because I knew they wouldn’t believe it,” he said.

Nandi also laughed as she recalled her boyfriend’s reaction after learning he had not been nominated as one of the travel companions, describing it as a light-hearted moment among family and friends.

Despite the excitement, the trio said the reality of the win is still sinking in, although preparations are already underway, with Nandi having started packing for the trip.

“It still feels like a dream, but I’ve already started packing,” Nandi said.

When asked what they are most looking forward to, the group highlighted visiting Table Mountain as a key experience, while Shepherd said he is simply looking forward to taking time to rest and unwind.

“Life is always busy, so this will be a chance to de-stress,” he said.

Each of the three winners will also receive E10 000 in spending money, although they are still considering how they will use it once in Cape Town.

The trio expressed gratitude to Eswatini Mobile, saying they have been loyal customers for years and appreciate the network’s value, particularly the endless data, free calls and weekend benefits that make communication more accessible.

They also confirmed that they will continue participating in the Siyabangena More campaign, which currently offers E10 000 cash prizes to nine winners, as the entity celebrates nine years of existence. The draw will be held on August 1, 2026.

“We are definitely entering,” said Nandi. “You never know what can happen.”

The Siyabangena More campaign continues to show how simple everyday actions such as loading airtime can unlock extraordinary opportunities, delivering both practical rewards and memorable experiences for customers across the country.
