The body of the Liswati teacher who died in Taiwan is expected to be repatriated back into the country on Friday.
This comes four months after Delisa Elisha Dlamini died in Taiwan while in his rented flat. The incident happened around April.

Even though the family still needs over E200 000 to repatriate his body back into the country, they are confident that the nation will come through for them through donations so that they can be able to meet the deadline since they have already paid the deposit for the repatriation costs.

Dlamini left the country two years ago to pursue a teaching job in Taiwan. The family needed NTD 735 000 (E440 268.20) to repatriate his body and the public has been assisting in raising his body costs.
His uncle Bhekithemba Dlamini confirmed the latest developments. He said Delisa’s remains might arrive in the country on Sunday.
“If everything goes well and we continue receiving help from Emaswati, we will repatriate his body back into the country.

The preparations are being done by the Embassy of Eswatini in Taiwan, and we will only fetch his body at Or Tambo International Airport. He is not be cremated,” Dlamini said.

“The insurance is expected to release another TND140 000 (E83.823.60), which is the balance since only half was released. We are grateful to the nation for always being willing to assist, and B3 is still on board on transporting the body from South Africa to Eswatini,” he said.
