CSC SHUFFLES SENIOR GOVT OFFICIALS:
The Civil Service Commission has announced the administrative and technical redeployment of senior government officials to various ministries.
According to the Commission, the move is aimed at strengthening the administrative and technical functions of government.

Members of Parliament have convened at Happy Valley Hotel for a presentation on the Eswatini Medical Supplies Agency Bill, 2025 and the Eswatini Nursing Council Bill.
The session saw robust engagement from lawmakers as they familiarised themselves with the proposed legislation aimed at strengthening healthcare delivery in the country.
NEW COO FOR ATHLETICS ESWATINI
Athletics Eswatini has officially welcomed Mathokoza Dlamini as its new Chief Operations Officer (COO). The announcement was made by AE President Zakhele Dlamini during a press conference held at Sigwaca House.
Mathokoza Dlamini replaces Thoba Mazibuko and will serve on a two-year renewable contract.
EPA, A BRIDGE FOR REGIONAL GROWTH:
European Union Ambassador to Eswatini, Karsten Mecklenburg, has described the EU-SADC Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) as a bridge between regions, a catalyst for inclusive growth and a reminder that economic prosperity thrives when countries unite.
Speaking during the stakeholder validation workshop for the EU-SADC EPA Implementation Strategy and Action Plan (2025–2029) at the Royal Villas, Mecklenburg said the meeting marked a critical milestone in ensuring that the EPA becomes a living instrument for sustainable development, inclusive trade and economic transformation across the SADC region.
SA COPS SEIZE E4M DAGGA FROM ESWATINI
A 32-year-old man was arrested in Dundee, South Africa, after being caught with 90 bags of compressed dagga smuggled from Eswatini.
Acting on intelligence, KwaZulu-Natal police teams intercepted the vehicle on R33 after a high-speed chase. The bust, involving units from Glencoe K9, Zululand Task Team, and Dundee Crime Prevention, uncovered dagga worth an estimated E4 million
The suspect was expected to appear in court today, charged with dealing in dagga.
ARTS AND CULTURE TAKE CENTRE STAGE AT KALANGA:
