SOCCER – Eswatini Football Association (EFA) President Peter ‘Samora’ Simelane has expressed deep appreciation to MulaSport for partnering with the Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) to sponsor the National First Division (NFD).
Simelane shared his sentiments during the sponsorship launch held at Sibane Sami Hotel yesterday, where he praised MulaSport for forging this innovative partnership with the PLE.
“One must acknowledge that MulaSport made an excellent decision in entering this partnership, as football remains one of the most effective vehicles for achieving business objectives.
“We are extremely pleased with this novel investment in the game, which will not only sustain the league but also enhance the performance of our clubs. This partnership will further energise the league’s already dynamic nature, and we welcome and salute MulaSport’s significant contribution. Your decision reflects the wisdom of those who prosper,” Simelane said.
He also congratulated PLE Chairman Polycarp Dlamini and his executive committee for attracting new and improved sponsors, emphasising the critical role such partnerships play in advancing football development in Eswatini.

Simelane highlighted that the foundation of the national team is built on strong domestic leagues, crediting the NFD’s structure and competitiveness for nurturing emerging talent.

“I would like to commend you, Chairman, your executive committee, and the board of governors for the new product and branding extensions of the PLE. It is crucial that all stakeholders remain committed to preserving this special partnership throughout the season,” he added.
The EFA President noted that those who have participated in or followed the National First Division, both locally and internationally, can attest to its dynamic nature. He described the league as a vital link connecting grassroots and professional football in the country.
