The Eswatini Observer’s newly established premises in Sidwashini became a sanctuary of gratitude and spiritual renewal as staff gathered for an end-of-year prayer session led by renowned Apostle Nhlanhla Hlatjwayo.

The event held a month after the organisation settled into its new offices marked a significant spiritual dedication of the space and the beginning of what many believe will be a divinely guided chapter.

Apostle Hlatjwayo, known for his compelling sermon style, powerfully centered his sermon around ‘Uyabona Nkulunkulu’ – ‘God sees’.
This captured the essence of his message that God’s presence, oversight and intention are interwoven with the work undertaken within the building. He quoted from Genesis 9:13, Malachi 3:16 and Numeri 14:28 among other verses.

“Whatever the company is doing or planning and whatever you as individuals are pursuing, God sees it,” he proclaimed, reminding the team that divine eyes are on their efforts, decisions and aspirations.
His message was both comforting and instructive, emphasising that excellence, accountability and integrity are not only professional expectations but spiritual duties.

The pastor encouraged employees to embrace prayer as a source of personal and institutional strength. He highlighted that the end of the year was naturally a moment for self-assessment, where individuals reflected on accomplishments, failed plans, delayed dreams and unmet resolutions.
He acknowledged that such reflections could sometimes lead to frustration or even blaming God, but urged the team never to abandon prayer.

Using relatable examples and scriptural references, he reminded the staff that God was always good, and that His plans often unfold through persistence and collaboration.
He encouraged them to lift their leadership in prayer, support each other and remain steadfast in their commitment to serving with both excellence and compassion.

The service concluded with a call for the Eswatini Observer to ensure that prayer remains central to its operations and culture. For many employees, the message served as a powerful reassurance that the new building is not just a workplace, but a spiritually grounded home destined for growth, unity and divine oversight.

Acting MD says faith made Sidwashini move possible

ESWATINI Observer Acting Managing Director Mbongeni Mbingo described the company’s relocation to its new Sidwashini premises as a journey of faith, perseverance and shared vision, one that reflects not only organisational determination but divine provision at every step.
Speaking during the company’s end-of-year prayer session, Mbingo expressed deep gratitude following a sermon delivered by Apostle Nhlanhla Hlatjwayo. He said the message aligned perfectly with the organisation’s values, aspirations and the unique path that led to the establishment of the new offices.

“When the journey to move to Sidwashini started, it appeared to be a far-fetched dream,” Mbingo reflected. “But with God on our side, everything became possible.”
He noted that the transition from concept to reality required immense commitment, strategic planning and unwavering faith. Yet despite the challenges, the end result unveiled a fully functional and aesthetically impressive office environment that staff are proud to call home.

Mbingo recounted moments during the project where hope was tested and progress seemed uncertain. However, he said each obstacle was met with unexpected breakthroughs, moments he attributed to divine intervention.
“The Almighty provided at every step of the way and that is why this place has taken the great shape it has today,” he affirmed.

He commended the entire staff for contributing to the success of the relocation, acknowledging the sacrifices and teamwork that ensured operations continued.
Mbingo emphasised that the transition symbolised not only physical movement but organisational renewal.

Looking ahead, he announced a new spiritual commitment.
“Eswatini Observer will conclude every month with a prayer session.”
He explained that the decision aims to sustain alignment with divine purpose while inviting continued protection and guidance over the company’s work.

“For us going forward, we will make it a point to end every month with prayer. This will keep us aligned and allow the Holy Spirit to continue guiding and protecting us,” he said.
