“Tony has worked with artists like Big Zulu and Lwandlunkulu and his dedication to charity aligns perfectly with our mission to empower the next generation of hip-hop artists,” said Dlamini.
The event aims to assist schools and provide resources to underprivileged communities. Dlamini explained that beneficiaries would include pupils who have recently completed their schooling, helping them transition into the next stage of their lives.
“We hope to raise awareness about the importance of education while fostering a collaborative spirit within the community,” he added.
The county’s rich culture and growing youth interest in hip-hop make it an ideal location for the tour. Dlamini said featuring Tony Dayimane would elevate the local entertainment scene, inspire aspiring artists and spark conversations about music, charity and community development.
“This event can serve as a launchpad for more artistic endeavors, enriching Eswatini’s cultural landscape,” he noted.
Fans can expect an exciting lineup, including local performers such as Anthem, Lady Vu, Corrosive DJ, S’TEE, Pepe De, Shodi Comedian, along with dance and food competitions, meet-and-greet sessions and personal interactions with Tony Dayimane. Dlamini highlighted that Tony would share insights from his career and offer advice to emerging artists.
“We hope it will become an annual project celebrating talent and giving back to the community,” he added.
