“Government wishes to provide an update to Emaswati regarding the five immigrants who arrived in the country in July under the United States’ TCP programme. We are pleased to inform Emaswati that on Sunday, September 21, the immigrant from Jamaica, Mr Orville Isaac Etoria, was voluntarily repatriated to his home country, Jamaica, of his own volition and without any compulsion whatsoever,” said Mdluli.

She added that Etoria was safely welcomed back in Jamaica by his family.

Mdluli noted that the successful repatriation was made possible through the support of the International Organisation for Migration (IOM), the Government of Jamaica, and the Jamaican High Commission in Pretoria, South Africa. She also expressed gratitude to the countries of transit that assisted during the process.
