MBABANE – Eswatini’s rising comedy star, Ndosh, has been officially announced as the second headliner for the much-anticipated second edition of the Eswatini International Comedy Festival (ECOFEST).
The event, founded by Dr Shakes, is set for 26 September at Sibane Sami Hotel, kicking off at 7 pm.
Ndosh: The Comedian and Mental Health Advocate
Born Mfundo Simelane, Ndosh is a qualified psychologist and an engaging event MC known for his ability to captivate audiences and tackle mental health issues through comedy.

A Night of Local and International Laughter
The 2025 ECOFEST promises a diverse lineup featuring talents from Southern Africa and beyond, including confirmed international act Boldwin Bals from Botswana.

New Comedy Search Spotlighting University Talent
A fresh feature for this year’s festival is a comedy search competition aimed at university students. The winner will earn the opportunity to perform alongside established international comedians.
“Our mission is to nurture local talent and create growth opportunities within Eswatini’s comedy scene,” said Dr Shakes.
Diverse Line-up and Exciting Surprises Await
The festival will showcase comedians from China, Botswana, Lesotho, South Africa, and Eswatini, promising a night rich in humour and entertainment.
