SOCCER – The MTN Premier League returns next weekend during the Easter holidays after a two-week break for FIFA international matches.
All eight Week 22 matches are scheduled to be played on Saturday April 4, 2026 across the country.
Soccer fans will be treated to a doubleheader at Mavuso Sports Centre as capital city giants Mbabane Highlanders host Ezulwini United. Selaotse ‘Sly’ Mosala’s men will be looking to secure another victory in their quest to improve their position on the log standings, while Ezulwini United aim to bounce back to winning ways following back-to-back defeats.
Log leaders Nsingizini Hotspurs will also be packing their bags and heading to Mavuso Sports Centre for a tough encounter against a rejuvenated Moneni Pirates.
Having lost their last two fixtures in the league and Ingwenyama Cup respectively, the Buccaneers will be firing on all cylinders this time around.
Also on the same day, the inconsistent Green Mamba will once again play their home game against rivals Young Buffaloes at Ka-Langa Technical Centre.
What makes this clash even more interesting is the history between the correctional outfit and the army side, which always leaves followers of both sides on the edge of their seats.
Meanwhile, bereaved Manzini Wanderers will travel to Tambankulu Stadium to face Tabankulu Celtics. There is no room for error as the struggling hub giants are rooted at the bottom of the log standings with only eight points.
Elsewhere, Malanti Chiefs have a date with Mbabane Swallows while Royal Leopard welcome Manzini Sea Birds.
