Mandisa Mamba, one of Eswatini’s most captivating voices, has unveiled her new single, ‘Echo’, a vibrant R&B track infused with the infectious bounce of three-step.
Released on Wednesday, the song is a powerful testament to infinite love, capturing the essence of devotion that resonates endlessly like an echo through time.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the song, Mandisa said:
“My inspiration came from experiencing unconditional love. I want listeners to feel the warmth and vulnerability that comes with truly opening your heart, and to be reminded that real love always leaves a lasting impression.”
The heartfelt message is woven through soulful vocals and rhythmic production, blending intimacy with energy to create a sound that moves both the soul and the dancefloor.
Mandisa revealed that the creative journey of ‘Echo’ began during a break from the entertainment industry in 2023, when she wrote the song purely for the love of music.
“At the time, it was just about creating for the love of it,” she explained.
When reconnecting with her producer NKO earlier this year, she shared her vision to incorporate a three-step rhythm. NKO embraced the idea immediately and brought on Sihlangu, who added guitar, and Ziyawakazitha for production assistance.
“Within a month, the entire song came together beautifully,” Mandisa recalled, highlighting the process as a refreshing reminder of why she fell in love with making music.
She said ‘Echo’ also marked an evolution in her artistry, exploring new creative boundaries without losing authenticity.
“My strength lies in constantly exploring and pushing creative boundaries. With ‘Echo’, tapping into the three-step sound challenged me in new ways and helped me refine my sense of melody and rhythm,” she said.
Looking ahead, Mandisa described ‘Echo’ as the beginning of a new creative era, with more music that blends emotion, rhythm, and storytelling to come.
“I’m currently working on songs that explore themes of love, healing, and faith with sounds that push beyond what people might expect from me,” she said.
To promote ‘Echo’, Mandisa plans to engage closely with her audience through behind-the-scenes content, live performances, and personal reflections on the song’s meaning.
“My focus is on connecting with people through both the song and its message. I look forward to hearing fans’ stories and celebrating their covers and interpretations, building a vibrant community around my music,” she added.
