The Inkhosikati also shared a personal reflection, recounting their first meeting in the late 1980s, when a remarkable bond was formed, one that grew stronger through charitable collaborations and family gatherings.

These efforts, she said, have contributed to the significant decline of malaria in Eswatini.
She expressed profound gratitude towards Chaka Chaka for aligning with the vision set forth by His Majesty King Mswati III, and for supporting the efforts of both the King and the government.
“Eswatini now stands as a beacon of hope in the world, having effectively managed to reduce malaria by nearly 99 per cent,” she added.
As the celebration progressed, the Inkhosikati extended heartfelt wishes for Chaka Chaka’s birthday, commending her for songs such as “I’m Burning Up” and “Who’s Got the Power”, which have inspired many across the globe.
She recognized Chaka Chaka not only for her musical talents, but also for her devotion as a wife, mother, and grandmother, a source of warmth and inspiration throughout her life and work.
Inkhosikati LaNgangaza concluded by quoting Proverbs 31:10, “A wife of noble character, who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.” The words resonated deeply with the guests, leading to a heartfelt toast in Yvonne Chaka Chaka’s honor.
“I love you, appreciate you, and cherish you dearly, Yvonne. May God bless you abundantly,” she concluded.
