THE Examinations Council of Eswatini (ECESWA) has confirmed that Form V results will be released during the second week of next month.
This announcement was made by ECESWA Chief Executive Officer Dr Mandlenkhosi Dlamini following the successful release of Grade VII and Form III results before the end of last year.
Dlamini expressed satisfaction with the council’s ability to release both Grade VII and Form III results on schedule. He acknowledged, however, that the Form III results were released before the Grade VII results, which was unusual.
“As you are aware, Standard V results were released under the Competency-Based Education (CBE) programme for the first time, which caused some delays,” he said.
He added that the delay was due to the need to first upload the Grade VII results into the system, given that the CBE was a new programme.
“Despite these challenges, we are happy that we were able to meet the deadlines and release both sets of results on time,” Dr Dlamini said.
The CEO also extended appreciation to exam markers, describing their work as meticulous and demanding.
“We would like to thank the markers for doing an excellent job. They have to ensure absolute accuracy and there is extensive double-checking to guarantee the correctness of the results,” he said.

Dr Dlamini further cautioned against malpractice during examinations. He reported that a few cases were detected and properly addressed, but stressed that no results were withheld and all schools received their results as scheduled.
“My message is mainly to warn invigilators against malpractice, as even a single case undermines the integrity of the examination process,” he said.
Regarding the upcoming Form V results, Dlamini assured that the council had shifted its full focus to finalising them.
“We will be conducting thorough quality assessments and data verification to ensure accuracy. Parents and pupils can expect the results in the second week of February. ECESWA is committed to meeting this set deadline,” he said.
Finally, Dlamini congratulated all learners who passed and encouraged those who did not to continue working hard.
