Eswatini entrepreneurs and companies showcased different products at the annual Food Taipei 2025 at Taipei Nangang International Exhibition Centre yesterday.
The products included natural honey, dried fruit, organic sauces, marmalade jam and more. Women’s Micro Enterprise Mentoring and Capacity Building Project Manager, Jose Peng said the companies included Embiveni Meat Industries, Royal Eswatini Sugar Corporation (RES Corp) and the producers included JOJO Mnandzi, Asano Organic Sauces, Bulembu, Mambane and Imagine Pantry Africa.
He noted that Food Taipei showcases global food trends, bringing together international cuisines, providing a professional platform for the Asian and other continental markets.
The project manager added that the Food Taipei will showcase products like fresh fruit and vegetables, preserved fruit and vegetables, poultry, seafood, meat and processed meat products, edible oils, dairy products, organic and vegetarian food, frozen prepared food. He added canned food, baked food, biscuits, wine and liquor, coffee and tea, juice and soft drinks, condiments and confectionery and ice cream.

He further highlighted that popular among visitors was the 100 in food and beverages in Taipei, networking opportunities and meeting other people of shared interest.
“This is a platform of opportunities for food industry leaders around the world and contributes to the continued growth of the global food market. Held annually, the show will return to Taipei in June 2025 at the Nangang International Exhibition Centre.
“Last year, Food Taipei brought together over 1 170 exhibitors and 2 688 booths showcasing products and services.
We are happy to continue supporting Emaswati entrepreneurs in this regard, where they will join other exhibitors to showcase their different products,” he said.
Asano Organic Sauces Director Nolwazi Malambe, who is also a farmer stated that the opportunity provided by the Taiwan ICDF Project would help get her products exposure to international markets.
Appreciating the Women’s Micro Enterprise Mentoring and Capacity Building Project, she said growth was inevitable and her business was bound to grow in leaps and bounds, something she would not have achieved on her own.
