SIYABONGA Gezani Ndimande and Malusi Dave Ndimande, the two brothers accused of murdering South African rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and his friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane, are expected to leave Eswatini tomorrow to stand trial in South Africa.
This development follows confirmation from South Africa’s Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development, Mmamoloko Kubayi, that Eswatini has officially granted the extradition order after the pair withdrew their appeal against being sent back.

Appeal Withdrawn, Extradition Granted
The Ndimande brothers have been fighting extradition since their arrest in February 2024, which came after a joint operation between the Royal Eswatini Police Service (REPS) and South African authorities.
Their legal battle reached the Supreme Court of Eswatini, but the appeal has now been formally withdrawn, paving the way for their return.

“With the withdrawal of the appeal, the Acting Prime Minister of Eswatini has granted the extradition order,”
– Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi said in a statement yesterday.
Handover Logistics Underway
The South African Police Service (SAPS) and local authorities are finalising all logistical arrangements for the brothers’ handover, which will be coordinated through diplomatic channels.
The pair are expected to arrive in South Africa tomorrow, November 11, where they will face multiple charges including:
– Murder
– Conspiracy to commit murder
– Unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition
High-Profile Case that Shocked South Africa
The dramatic shooting of AKA and Motsoane outside a Durban restaurant in February 2023 sparked national outrage and one of the most complex multi-country investigations in recent years.
According to Minister Kubayi, further details regarding the brothers’ first court appearance in KwaZulu-Natal will be released once they land in South Africa.
“The department has received confirmation that the pair will be brought back to South Africa on November 11 to stand trial,” Kubayi said.
