South African DJ, TV personality and businesswoman DJ Zinhle Jiyane will headline the fifth edition of the Makoti Festival.
Makoti Festival executives made the announcement yesterday, confirming that DJ Zinhle will be joined in the phase one artist announcement by award-winning gospel singer Nothando Hlophe.
Other artists on the line-up include Velemseni, Gifted Kosie, Culolami, Ash, Nelson X and Mozambique’s DJ Skywhite.
The executives said more artists and DJs would be announced as the festival draws closer.
Makoti Festival returns for its fifth edition on April 25 at the Malkerns Country Club.
The festival is a full-day event featuring live music, fashion and cultural activities, celebrating Southern Africa’s creative talent and culture.
Tickets are available on major ticket platforms, including Computicket, Howler, Moja Ticket and the festival’s official website.

“Tickets are now available on all major selling platforms.
General tickets cost E200 in phase one, E250 in phase two and E300 in phase three.
VIP tickets cost E500 in phase one, E650 in phase two and E750 in phase three,” said the executive.
As excitement builds towards the festival, fans can expect more announcements in the coming weeks, including additional artists, DJs and special guests for the 2026 edition.
