South African artists DJ Tira as well as sensation Naledi Aphiwe shut down the Eswatini Biggest Braai before an incredible crowd. The Saturday night performances at Mavuso Trade Centre brought an electrifying energy as the event ended.

The event, already ablaze with performances from local stars, reached a fever pitch as these two headliners delivered unforgettable sets that had revellers dancing and singing into the early hours.

Naledi Aphiwe got on stage at 1am and was met with screams and cheers. Casual yet radiant, she commanded the stage immediately, opening with the infectious rhythm of Uyangijabulisa. Phones were capturing every moment of the superstar’s performance.

She followed up with heartfelt renditions of Ngiyabonga and the crowd-favourite Romeo & Juliet, songs that had the ecstatic fans singing along with unrestrained joy.

The connection between Naledi and her audience was palpable as she was not just performing but sharing a moment, even stepping offstage to dance alongside her fans. The affection was overwhelming, as the crowd showered her with cash.

One magical highlight of Naledi’s performance was when she invited Senzo Vilakati, a Manzini resident, onto the stage. His dream came true in that instant, adding a personal touch to an already unforgettable night.

Following Naledi’s soulful set, DJ Tira took over to elevate the atmosphere even further. Known for his dynamic mixing skills, Tira seamlessly blended genres from gqom to house and kwaito, keeping the dancefloor alive and pulsating.

His infectious energy transcended the decks as he moved freely on the stage, showing off dance moves that encouraged everyone around him to let loose. The crowd’s enthusiasm reached new heights — at one point, some partygoers climbed atop a fire truck, dancing wildly in a spontaneous display of jubilation.

While the South African stars illuminated the main stage, the event was a platform for local talent to shine too. Artists like Linda Dlamini inspired the crowd with deeply spiritual performances, while Young Zesh energised fans with his fresh release Senibeketele and the ever-popular Ka-Khoza.

DJs Zulu D, Culolam, Mbo, Sgitha, and UrCousinPhayo each brought their unique flair, weaving a rich tapestry of sound that kept the energy rolling all night long.

The VIP section, adorned with Castle branding, created its own vibrant atmosphere with DJs like Sbu De Drum DJ spinning beats that had guests dancing under the stars.

The synergy between headliners and local performers, alongside the enthusiastic crowd, made the Eswatini Biggest Braai an unparalleled celebration of music and culture.
