Local stars shine at MoMo Xperience

Eswatini’s finest talent took centre stage during the second edition of the MoMo Xperience, proving beyond doubt that the kingdom’s music scene is alive, loud and leading.


Held at Malkerns Country Club, the event was a melting pot of rhythm, culture and unshakable national pride.
While international acts brought their flair, it was the local performers who truly stole the spotlight, holding their own. From the minute the first beat dropped, it was clear: Eswatini came to represent.

Young Zesh, with his undeniable charisma and electric stage presence, delivered a performance that had the crowd singing, shouting and jumping. Known for his killer live shows, Zesh once again proved why he’s one of the country’s most exciting young performers.

Then came Mnation, adding a layer of culture that sent chills. Backed by vibrant Sibhaca dancers, his perfomance was more than just music, it was a living, breathing tribute to Eswatini’s heritage. The traditional stomps, chants and attire gave festivalgoers a rare fusion of sound and culture that hit home.

Velemseni, Zwile, Ayacity, Rekorder and !Sooks also brought their A-game, showcasing the wide range of genres and styles brewing within the kingdom.
From soulful melodies to thumping house beats, each act added a unique thread to the colourful tapestry of the night.


Festivalgoers couldn’t stop raving about the local acts. “It felt like watching the future of Eswatini music live on stage,” one attendee said. “You could see the passion, the pride and honestly, the talent is world-class.”
