GOLDEN Frog Textile Director ZJ Yang admitted to using vulgar language on his employees.
He admitted this before Minister of Labour and Social Security Phila Buthelezi and Members of Parliament who are also members of the ministry’s portfolio committee in the House of Assembly.
These included Mhlume MP Sifiso Magagula, Gege MP Magesi Dlamini and Mhlambanyatsi MP Dr Bonginkosi Dlamini.
The minister and the portfolio members were informed by the workers that they were insulted not only by Yang, but their manager who is Liswati.
When asked about it, Yang casually confirmed and said he usually used unpalatable language when angry due to failure to meet his clients’ needs.
“Sometimes I lose so much money and then lose my temper,” Yang said with a giggle.
Meanwhile, a local manager who was also accused of insulting the workers denied the allegation.
Instead, she said the workers reported to her if they had challenges with their supervisors, then she forwarded their complaints to the human resource officer.
Golden Frog management was strongly advised to cease from verbally abusing their workers.
