SOCCER – The 2025 8Bet Trade Fair Cup champions will pocket E630 000.
The prize breakdown for the second edition of the 8Bet Trade Fair Cup was released by the tournament’s PRO Lindokuhle Mthupha, who is also the Brand and Marketing Manager for the Premier League of Eswatini (PLE).
The winners’ prize has improved by E30 000 from last year’s E600 000 won by Young Buffaloes after beating Moneni Pirates in the finals.

The 10-day 8Bet Trade Fair Cup begins tomorrow with all 16 Premier League clubs in action over three days in what is one of the country’s historic knockout tournaments. The runners-up will bank E320 000.

The 2025 edition of the tournament was launched about three weeks ago at Hilton Garden Inn. On that evening, Chief Operations Officer of 8Bet, Belinda Motsa, announced an impressive E2.5 million sponsorship for this year’s event — an increase of E500 000 from last year’s inaugural E2 million package.
The sponsors have pledged a total of E7.5 million over three years for the Trade Fair Cup, meaning next year’s third edition will carry a sponsorship of E3 million.
The launch event was attended by key government officials, including Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade Manqoba Khumalo and Minister of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs Bongani Nzima, alongside top football administrators led by Eswatini Football Association Vice-President Steve Horton.
Each of the participating 16 teams will get E20 000 participation fee, while E320 000 has been spent on branded kits. The tournament’s best player will pocket E10 000, with the top goal scorer, best goalkeeper, and best coach each receiving E7 000.
Triple-header matches will be E60, while it will be E50 for double headers.
