ESWATINI International Trade Fair (EITF) spokesperson Sihle Nkabindze says they are expecting over 270 exhibitors for this year’s Eswatini International Trade Fair (EITF).

The 57th edition will be held from August 29 to September 8 under the theme ‘Digital Transformation 2.0: Creating Business Networks’.

Nkabindze said they anticipated welcoming both local and international exhibitors, who had already confirmed their participation.

“We are pleased with the response received from exhibitors and vendors who will be part of this year’s event. I must say that preparations are already at an advanced stage,” he stated.

“This is a platform where local exhibitors can learn from their international counterparts, who are slightly ahead in terms of business practices,” he explained.

He added that one of their objectives is to encourage international exhibitors to explore business opportunities in Eswatini.

He mentioned that EITF has evolved into one of the most significant economic and business gatherings in the kingdom.

“The exhibitors also have the chance to form partnerships, which we actively encourage.

“We know they will also be looking for investment opportunities within the country,” Nkabindze said. He further noted that Taiwan had pledged to bring a number of exhibitors this year.

“We are already looking forward to this year’s event. I would also like to invite members of the public to attend as we have several activities in which they can participate.”

His Majesty King Mswati III is expected to officially open the 2025 Eswatini International Trade Fair on September 6.

EIPA CEO Sibane Mngomezulu said the authority would also assist exhibitors in aligning their preparations with the expectations of EITF visitors and organisers.

This year’s theme reflects EIPA’s commitment to creating streamlined, digitised services for traders and investors.

Mngomezulu reminded exhibitors to use the EITF digital platform for more information regarding rules and regulations.

“The App will also allow them to take part in the ‘Win a Car Competition’ by registering,” he said.

He also encouraged exhibitors to book their slots via the App and to take advantage of networking mixers, where they will have the opportunity to connect with their valued clients.
