First National Bank (FNB) Eswatini has launched its Swipe for the WIN campaign as the festive season approaches.
The initiative encourages customers to swipe more and transact safely during the holiday period. On Tuesday, the bank launched the campaign at Mica Hardware and Spar Matsapha Lifestyle, rewarding customers who swipe at the till with cash back on a portion of their spend.

According to FNB Eswatini Head of Transact and Deposits, Nosizwe Sigwane, the campaign aims to entrench a culture of safe and convenient transacting.
“Throughout our 30 years of serving Eswatini, we have always prioritised customer needs at the centre of our innovation, enabling convenience for our customers, and we are proud to have provided the ease of swiping since 1996.
Swiping has many benefits — it is safe, convenient, reduces the need to carry cash, and allows customers to better manage their budget,” she said.
The bank has set aside E100,000 in prize money for customers who swipe at selected FNB-banked retailers across the country over a six-week period.

Sigwane added that retailers were spread across all regions to give every Liswati a fair chance to win.
“We are a business that serves Eswatini in its entirety, and as we have been saying throughout the year of our 30th birthday celebration — Sitintile Eswatini futsi asiyindzawo. Whichever region you are in, you have a chance to win by swiping your FNB card at one of 30 retailers countrywide,” she said.
Early winners have already been announced. Golfer Raymond Mathonsi won at Spar Matsapha Lifestyle and thanked the bank for giving back to customers.
“It feels good to have free lunch. I had not planned on buying something big, but it is a good initiative. We are grateful. I swipe all the time and I love the convenience it brings,” he said.
Another winner, Nomalungelo Sukati, praised swiping for helping her save.
“I am so excited to have won, I was not expecting such. Thank you so much FNB. I prefer swiping over using cash because it helps me track my spending. With cash, I spend recklessly, but swiping helps me save a lot,” she said.
According to Sigwane, FNB Eswatini customers can look forward to more opportunities to win exciting prizes as the bank continues celebrating 30 years of impacting the lives of Emaswati.
